Floating Concert

Floating Concert

Sunday, September 13, 2020 · 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Colorado River

NEW EVENT!

After hors d’oeuvres and a cocktail or beverage, we board the Queen, a low speed open air boat, which takes listeners upstream on the Colorado River. After a few miles, the boat will float silently while Festival musicians, including a grand piano, play a private sunset concert on the River, surrounded by canyon walls. A 7:30 pm return allows for an early evening or dinner following this magical experience. The program includes Debussy’s exquisitely subtle Cello Sonata and Shubert’s iconic “Trout” quintet, full of musical references to flowing water.

Tickets

Tickets: $110 (13 and up)

In the event that the 2020 Festival is cancelled, tickets are refundable or may be donated for tax credit.

If the 2020 Festival occurs, tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Should the river float be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, the performance will take place at an alternate location.
